Morocco

Four months in Morocco and I’m definitely in love with this magic country, with rich history and an intriguing culture, it offers a stunning mix of heat, spice and culture. The Spices, the medinas, the taggine, the hammams, the architecture, the colours, the markets and most of all the people and the culture. Morocco is all in one.
Morocco in the “Gateway to Africa”, a fantastic place many people fall in love with. If you are a biker you can’t skip Morocco, it’s a real paradise for adventure bikers.

Brazil

On the Brazilian border cross, the officer gives me an high five, bossanova music spreading from the office and the woman-police doesn’t walk, she dances. Welcome in Brazil.
I came from Bolivia (when I left part of my heart), I sat on the bike by the roadside, soaked, covered in mud and wondering for a cold beer.
Stunning natural beauty, a distinct regional culture, and excellent food & wine: southern Brazil has it all; I spent only 45 days here, visiting just the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Trust me, the south of Brazil have a huge amount to offer.

Peru

What is the most remarkable vestige of the past in Latin America?
The obvious answer would be Machu Picchu… And, of course, it certainly is. But I believe there are many more. Throughout Peru you can find marvelous vestiges of the past that astonish the world’s travelers. Machu Picchu is a must-see destination, but is also a tourists trap (while many travellers come to visit the country’s most famous site, the ruins of Machu Picchu, the real Peru lies within its warm, proud inhabitants – many of whom can trace their bloodlines back to the Incas).
Peru is also home to Kuelap and Chavin de Huantar, Caral and Chan Chan, the Nasca Lines and Sipan… and I could name even more!

I spent 2 months here, and I’m still hungry of Peru.

Bolivia

If you are an adventure biker, there is no other place like Bolivia! I spent a 2 months riding on this wild country, discovering its incredible culture and unbelievable natural beauty. It’s a country of extremes, Amazon, mountain peaks, deserts, salted lakes.. all in one country!

In the Amazonia area I rode my bike for weeks in the mud, getting almost crazy. More than once I said to myself “What on earth am I doing here?”

Chile

From the driest desert in the world up north to eternal glaciers and inverted waterfalls down south, Chile extends travelers an invitation that is hard to turn down. Space observation in the Atacama Desert, thousand-year-old glaciers in the far south, magical forests and lakes lying at the foot of extraordinary volcanoes. Islands full of legends, wine traditions, incredible challenges to take on, and the capital city of Santiago with its airs of modernity and accessibility.
I rode my bike in Chile for 3 months visiting the long country from “top to toe”, almost always off-road. Chile is definitely an incredible country, a must to see.

Argentina

Balkans

Caught between Western and Eastern Europe, the Balkans combines the best of both worlds. In traveller’s terms, this is probably the most underrated (and undervalued) part of the continent. I travel on the Balkans for 4 months. Unfortunately I destroyed my iPhone on the go so I lose almost all the pictures.. Here are just what I saved.

Spain & Portugal

If you like off-road, then Spain and Portugal are your places. I’m in love with Spain since I was a young traveller, on a dirty bike I discovered some the hidden treasures on this amazing country. Not to mention the style of life here, I love it!
Follow an enticing trail of delicious tapas and pintxos, avant-garde art, architectural triumphs and dramatic history of Spain and Portugal. Travel the scenic route from Madrid to Barcelona (all off-road), relaxing on the beach in Algarve, sipping wine in Porto, enjoying the rolling green hills of Granada and being charmed by Andalusian Seville. Spend an unforgettableweek in my top five city in the world, San Sebastian. Admire the masterpieces of Picasso, Dali and Gaudi, experience the passion of flamenco, taste some of the best port in the world and embrace the culture of these two spirited countries.
